Privacy Policy

rowrowrow.blog is a rowing resource hub and directory operated by Inventive HQ, Inc. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the third-party services that process information on our behalf. The site has no user accounts; you can read everything without signing in.

• Server access logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records the URL requested, your IP address, browser user agent, and referring page on each request. Used to operate the site and prevent abuse.
• Submission form. When you submit a rowing club, event, or resource through the “Submit a Site” form, we store the details you provide (name, URL, category, optional contact email).
• Newsletter. If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address until you unsubscribe.

• To operate, maintain, and improve the directory and blog.
• To review submissions and decide whether to publish them.
• To send the newsletter if you've subscribed.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, DNS, database. The site runs entirely on Cloudflare infrastructure.
• GlitchReplay — browser-side error monitoring (see §6).

We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site identifiers. Cloudflare may set its own technical cookies for security and bot mitigation.

We use GlitchReplay, an error-tracking service operated by InventiveHQ, to capture browser-side errors so we can identify and fix bugs.

When an uncaught JavaScript error, unhandled promise rejection, or failed resource load occurs in your browser, we send GlitchReplay:

• The error message and stack trace
• The URL of the page where the error happened
• Browser, operating system, and rough geographic region (country)
• A timestamp

We do not send: form input, cookies, localStorage, auth tokens, or any directly identifying personal information.

Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States and retained for up to 30 days.

Server access logs are typically kept for around 14 days. Approved submissions are part of the public directory and are kept indefinitely. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we purge your address within 30 days.

If you submitted a listing and want it removed, or if you believe we hold information that identifies you and you'd like it deleted, email hello@rowrowrow.blog and we'll respond within 30 days.
